Is it time to tidy up your flower beds?

Joan and I are continuing the springtime clean up in our garden, around our townhouse.

We trimmed back the massive Jade plant in the front walkway that had taken over the front-door path. We filled the large green garbage can for Thursday pickup.

In the back garden we continued trimming geraniums, jade, baby tears, dandelions, grass, and succulents, to fit back into the boarders. The garden is looking much better.

The new tomato planter box is exactly right for our tomatoes. Due to our heat spell & plenty of water, the tomatoes are thriving. I am watering the whole garden daily to keep up with the heat.

My latest DIY project is a small 5-gallon bucket compost bin. Using kitchen scrapes to feed the bin, I look forward to making our soil rich and loamy. Soil able to support any new planting.

Always glad to hear about your DIY projects. Drop me a line. God bless and protect you all.

See you on the other side of this trying time.
