Eating whole food plant based to improve my health!

Do you want to improve your health? What about eating more veggies and fruits?

For the last 3 months, Joan and I have been eating Whole Foods, Plant-Based (WFPB). Eating WFPB to improve our health, has eliminated my morning aches and pains. I have lost 20 pounds, I have more energy, and I am way more satisfied with the food we eat.

We have been researching recipes on YouTube that fit our new eating patterns. I found a Lentil tortilla video to make delicious hot tortillas for meals. Who doesn’t like hot tortillas with their meal?

As a second-generation Portuguese American, my family ate whole plant-based foods at most meals. So, I love Brussels sprouts, cooked potatoes, sliced tomatoes, and kale. Now I eat a HUGE salad every day.

We have moved onto a path to make food our medicine, to eat the most nutritious way possible.

Together, we have listened to presentations from The Food Revolution by John & Ocean Robbins. They gather world food and dietary scientific experts to discuss how anyone can improve their health, even reversing common current diseases, with a WFPB diet.
 
That fits into my calling of helping others as a handyman, by helping myself repair my health. Even, enjoying building patio planters to grow some of our own food. I would be glad to share this with you if you need my help. You can contact me here.
