Are you ready for a game of Ping Pong?

Joan and I started 2019 celebrating the New Year with our grandson. Three days and two nights of ping pong, card games, boggle, Mexican train (dominoes), telling stories and enjoying each other.

Thanks to the Christmas gift from Lisa, Danny, and Everest of ping pong balls and  paddles, we were able to go to the public ping pong table, in our local park, and renew our love for table tennis. Beware, Joan has a very mean serve.

After two hours of play, the wind came up, and the ball had a mind of its own. We were belly laughing at some of the movements the ball took which was far more talented than any ball control we had

On New Year’s Eve we were on the street throwing snappers and pulling poppers, making each other jump and giggle. Joan and I actually made it midnight to bring in the New Year. Our grandson didn’t — drifting off to sleep only 5 minutes before the ball dropped

It was refreshing to have a few days off over the holiday. The time off reinvigorated me to start the New Year, ready to swing that hammer, climb those ladders, and fix all your electrical wiring.
