Heather Farms park in Walnut Creek is heaven on earth. From the dog park, the ponds, the tree covered pathways, and the well-groomed flower gardens; there are soothing sights and sounds for all.

Joan and I enjoyed the beauty of this place on Mother’s Day.

We walked along the creek path from the back-bay pond to the shaded, secluded benches under the coolness of trees. We took our Chai tea latte’s with us and sat enjoying the view; over the rose garden to the pond fountain beyond.

There were even several clutches of Canada geese with their young ones when we strolled around the front pond. The weather was perfect, just enough breeze to cool the warm sunshine.

The time felt like the best dream of discovering a wonderful garden. Every sort of flowering plant, bush, tree, and shrub surrounded us. The day was invigorating and filled us with peace on Earth.
